Paper piecing instructions for assembling the following blocks are included: Square Within A Square block; the Tea Cup block; the Heart 'n Spool block; and the Woven basket block. We used fusible applique to complete the remaining blocks & pattern includes reverse applique drawings if needed. While this is a great pattern for scraps & fat quarters, we recommend you avoid using stripes or directional fabrics for the paper piecing blocks.

Measuring 60" x 79", there are 35 baskets & three borders in this quilt - two of them are made of half square triangle blocks using both the background & basket fabrics. We recommend using one roll of triangle paper & an 8" bias square ruler to help you complete this quilt. If you are not using the triangle paper for your baskets & borders, you will need to cut triangles that can be made into half square triangles, since each basket needs six half-square triangle blocks. Pattern includes two paper templates you may need.
